I recently read a one month review post by My Spotted Blog and it was such a good idea that it inspired me to do my own. Luckily, my one month anniversary was only a few days away and hadn’t planned on doing anything special until then- perfect timing wouldn't you say?
As everyone knows, winter is such an idyllic time with Christmas vibes running wild and cosy nights in quickly becoming a favourite pastime. This is also the time of year where holiday destinations change from sun seeking to hunting for the perfect winter wonderland. I personally have always wanted to somewhere during winter that is so in tune with Christmas and all of winters wonders, but as life happens to do, time has gotten away from me time and time again. Despite this, I have an internal list of places I would go to that look unreal and beyond Instagram worthy, so I thought why not share these magical places with a few friends.
As I've said in previous posts, recently I have found myself getting more interested in cooking, so I thought I would share with you some of my weekly recipes. Especially seeing as though I’m still a new blogger, I thought this would be a good way to continue the getting-to-know-me process!
Archangels Prophecy is Nalini Singh’s eleventh installment in her bestselling Guild Hunter series. The author creates an incredibly complex, dynamic world where angels and vampires coincide with humans and archangels rule them all.
It was hard to narrow down my favourite books as I have read so much over the years so I decided to list my favourite authors instead. Some of these haven’t been read in some years but are so good that they have made an impact on my reading tastes and what I value in a piece of text. Although I am introduced to new authors and books all the time, these are the ones that stand out in my mind even now.
As this is the first time I have been invited to do a blog nomination award, I cannot tell you how happy and excited I am to be writing this post!
As I've probably mentioned in my previous posts, I wasn't always cooking's biggest fan. But this past year I have come to enjoy cooking and all things kitchen related, believe it or not. It had given me a way to enjoy something different in my life that I didn’t have previously.
Calling it a journey may be a bit of an exaggeration, it wasn't like I went through many obstacles and came through the other side. My personal journey was more of a change of mental mindset that started out slow and has grown over time until having completely changed my entire outlook of myself as a person. Strangely enough, my process did not start with going to the gym constantly or dieting loads. No, it started with a smoothie. Yes, a smoothie.
